Timber's Slash Pickup - July 14, 2025

The Timber's Wildfire Committee has arranged for Evergreen Fire Rescue to chip and haul slash for residents the week of July 14, 2025.    Evergreen Fire Rescue will be coming into the Timber's to pick up your slash, chip it and haul it away for FREE to our residents.    This is a service provided by the Timber's Metropolitan Board.

Slash Instructions

Piles must be stacked by 8 a.m. on the first scheduled chipping day which is July 14, 2025
  • Pile size is 5' x 5' x 5'.   Each resident will be allocated five piles of 5'x5'x5'.    If you need to have more slash and more piles or any other questions,  please contact Cindy Latham.
  • Place your slash piles along Timber's Drive so crews can easily access.
  • Place slash piles within 5 feet of the roadway, but not touching the road or down in drainage ditches.
  • Stack piles with the large cut ends facing the road
  • NO piles on or in driveways, piles must be on a roadway accessible to the crew and its equipment.
  • Maximum acceptable material diameter is 8"
  • Do not combine piles with neighbors' piles or place piles in other neighborhoods.
  • No piles that have been created by any machinery will be chipped
  • No piles of tiny sticks, pine needles and twigs (rakings) as they can’t be picked up and they can jam the fire department's chipper.
  • Piles that have rocks, dirt/debris, trash or root wads will NOT be chipped.
  • Any treated lumber or wood with nails will not be chipped
